oh blog, i'm so very sorry for the neglect i've shown you.

I've been working full time (10-12 hour days) for the past 2 months and school on top of it, and trying to get some artwork done for a gallery in Toronto that is generously giving me an 11 foot wall for my artwork to sell! woo, pretty exciting.

School has been going pretty well, except that I currently am down with laryngitis and a sinus infection....so my butt has officially been kicked. Which is seriously stressing me out considering I have a competition coming up in February (scholarship money is up for grabs) and I havent been able to practice and learn my new songs.

Speaking of which, i'm now learning "O Mio Babbino Caro" by Puccini! SO EXCITED. One of my favourite songs by far, and a seriouusss soprano role, it's a BIG song and i'm super stoked to sing it!

anyways, work at 5:30 am tomorrow so i'm off but I will be back sooner rather than later!

sing your heart out

I just got back from seeing Puccini's "Madame Butterfly" it was incredible. I had tears in my eyes when adina nitescu sang the last aria in the opera.

Thank you to my grandparents who bought me and my mom orchestra seats at the four seasons COC opera house.

David Pomeroy did an absolutely stunning job of singing the part of Pinkerton. If one day I could sing with him, I think I would forever be a happy girl haha. One of the more beautiful tenor voices i've ever heard.

SLR

i'm dying for an digital SLR camera. i'm putting it on my christmas wishlist.

halloween

I always get so excited for halloween. My favourite time of year..everything seems so magical and even the impossible seems possible.

i'm really sad and dissapointed that this year wasn't that much fun. Next year i'll be 20 and will be going OUT of my way to have an amazing time. maybe i'll have a costume party..or just go to a club/bar. Which i should have this year.

anyways.. just my thoughts of today.

p.s. watching paranormal activity tonight with the girls. hope it's good!

vlogs?

should I start doing vlogs? They're a little more personal...a bit more fun? and definately the new trend.

....but then i'd have to look good in order to record one...then worry about editing..

whereas with a regular blog. I can sit here in my raggedy torn up pajamas with my hair thrown up in a bun, no makeup accompanied by a face mask.

im leaning more towards my regular blog.....
